So for this week I decided to do another top 10 post. This time I wanted to talk about games that I would want ported over to the Nintendo Switch to diversify the library a little more than it already is. If a game you like isn’t here I might have forgotten about it, have never played it, or just don’t like it. So with all that out-of-the-way lets start this top 10.
10. Sonic Colors (Wii & DS)
I don’t know about you guys reading, but Sonic Colors was my first sonic game ever and I loved it. Though I only had the DS version and (as of right now) don’t have the Wii version. So having a compilation of the best levels from both versions (DS side profile levels and the Wii’s boost focused levels). It could also have the better version of each zones boss, and all wisps from both versions. To top it all off it could have one or two new wisps.
9. Overwatch
This is an amazing game I don’t own it but I have gotten the chance to play it thanks to some friends. I also have kept up to date with the new heroes like Anna, , and Moira (the newest hero). To have this game would be awesome it could be like Splatoon 2 where if you aren’t connected to the internet to play online then you can play through the story mode which many people have wanted in the game. Also they could add Nintendo themed skins similarly to what they did in Rocket League. Some different skins they could do is like a Samus skin for Pharaoh, a Kirby skin for Diva, and a Pit Skin for Hanzo.
8. Batman Arkham Collection (Asylum, City, Origins, and Knight)
I am a huge batman fan and have only played Arkham Origins and Arkham Knight (the worse games in the series compared to Asylum and City) and really enjoyed them. The gameplay is fun and is awesome to run around Gotham city leaping off roof tops and punching thugs. So i would really want this experience on the switch in a mega (definitive) collection with all four games with all DLC and ether all on one cartridge or split up into four separate cartridges In the some box.
7. Donkey Kong Country (Reruns & Tropical Freeze)
I’ve only every played a Donkey Kong game once at the WiiU displayed and played a single level of Tropical Freeze and it was awesome. To bring this game to the switch would be great and let a lot of people who didn’t have a Wii or WiiU. They could also give you the ability to play as Dixie Kong and Cranky Kong in Donkey Kong Country Returns.
6. Kirby (Planet Robo-Bot & Tipple Deluxe)
These were my first Kirby games and loved them. The gameplay was fun, the story was good, and the final boss fights were incredible. If they put these games together they could have all of copy abilities together in both games and maybe bring back some more copy abilities.
5. Yoshi’s Woolly World
This games looks adorable with the handmade, arts and crafts looking graphics. The game has a charm to it that would be amazing on the switch in a definitive edition adding the unique things from the 3DS version of the game to the WiiU version for the Switch.
4. Super Mario Maker
This is one of the best games on the WiiU and is loved by the majority of people who have played it. They ported it over to the 3DS last Christmas and it was just as good but lower visual quality (understandably). If they port it over to the Switch they could add Mario Odyssey style costumes for Mario in the Super Mario Bros. style visual.
3. Metriod: Samus Returns
Metroid has been gone for too long and Federation force wasn’t an amazing substitute. Having a Metroid game back is good and bringing it in to the switch could improve the visuals and could improve the game from the 3DS build.
2. Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2
These games were amazing and so much fun to play with the creative use of gravity and different galaxies. These games would be some much fun on the Switch since they haven’t been seen on a different system than the Wii. Also these games are some my favorite games of all time so i just want it on the system.
1. Super Smash Bros. WiiU and 3DS
Isn’t this obvious, so many people have been wanting this port with new character, the best stages from both versions, and Smash Run (the better between Smash Run, and Smash Tour). They could also have all of the characters from the WiiU and 3DS game including the DLC characters. If they do add new characters they could add the Splatoon Inklings, and an Arms character with those characters stages based on their games.
So that is ten games I want to be added to the Nintendo Switch. Some you may agree with, and some you might not want on the system . Either way, tell me what comments what games you want to be ported to the Nintendo Switch. I’ll see you guys later. Bye.
